Eve-Marie was born and brought up in Lorraine (France). However, she spent a great deal of time in Northern Brittany where the weather and the sea have always been the source of inspiration. The Wave is a direct outcome of this and the piece itself enjoyed critical success. The Wave (La Ola) was acquired by Spanish collector Pedro A. Serra Bauzà in 2009 to be exhibited at Can Prunera Museum Modernist, Sóller (Mallorca, Spain).

Eve-Marie spent her formative years living in the United States and the United Kingdom. She attended Morley College, London where she studied sculpture under numerous award-winner Sheila Vollmer and developed as a fine art sculptor creating nature and human portrait cast bronze sculptures. She created a number of private commissions and continues to produce pieces for private individuals. Eve-Marie is also a published portrait photographer in a book “ their own words” where a number of her photographs can be found. She continues to spend time and to be inspired by the sea and the landscape of Erquy.
